[South Burlington, VT: June 29, 2026] The Business Bank announces the hiring of Theda Bathalon Celley of Walden, VT as Vice President, Director of Branch Administration, and Branch Manager of its South Burlington office. Theda will manage daily operations for the bank’s two Financial Centers, located in South Burlington and Portsmouth, NH, and will lead retail and business development activities for the South Burlington office.

Theda joins The Business Bank with nearly fifteen years of experience, including branch management, sales, and customer engagement. Most recently, she was Branch Manager of the Morrisville office of Union Bank, where she managed daily operations, led recruitment and training efforts, and was instrumental in a variety of sales and customer relationship initiatives.  Her prior experience includes a variety of customer service and sales positions in the banking, retail, and B2B industries, and in human services, as Behavioral Interventionist with Lamoille County Mental Health Services.

Theda is a passionate leader, dedicated to both personal growth and helping others succeed. In her personal time, she loves playing sports, staying active, dancing, and spending time with friends and family, including her husband and fur babies.
